<p>I have a Nikon D40 that has worked really well for the past year, but with the new D5000 down to around I think it might be time to upgrade. The D5000 has twice the pixels and twice the ISO range. For casual, non-professional photography am I going to notice a big difference? I also noticed that the framing rate is better on the D5000 (4 fps vs. 2.5). Is there enough of a difference to upgrade, or should I wait another year and see what they have next year? The D40 works great, but the D5000 looks like twice the camera for $600. </p>
